From Friday November 3 and until Saturday, November 11 the fourteenth edition of the European Film Festival of Sevilla (SEFF 2017) will be held in the city. The programming will include more than four hundred screenings of more than two hundred movies, twenty of them will be world premieres and one hundred and eighty five will be national premieres. In the Official Section will compete 16 movies. As a novelty of this edition the children's section will be divided creating the competitive sections, such as Junior Europe (with films for children from 3 to 12 years old) and "Cinéfilos del Futuro" (from 12 to 19 years old).
In the official competition section of SEFF 2017, 16 films will compete for the Golden Giraldillo, among them, there will be the production of Martin Scorsese 'A ciambra', by Jonas Carpignano; "A violent life", second film by Thierry de Peretti; "Little crusader", by Czech Václav Kadrnka; "Ramiro", from the Portuguese Manual Mozos; "Winter brother", by the Icelandic Hlynur Palmason; "The sea looks at us from afar", by Manuel Muñoz Rivas; or "Earth of God", by Francis Lee.
The European Film Festival of Sevilla (SEFF 2017) will takes place at Cine Sur Nervión Plaza (Nervión Plaza Shopping Center, Luis de Morales Street, 3), Lope de Vega Theater (María Luisa Avenue, s / n) and Alameda Theater (Calle Credito, 13). Single ticket costs 3.5 euros. Opening and closing gala tickets cost 6 euros.
